These are all of my Shiny Pokemon that I caught myself, and I still have (Or it will be once I get them all added). I'll update this page from time to time as I catch more. All images are from Bulbapedia, which was probably a bad idea because sometimes they don't load. Current number of Shinies on this page is: 80.

Joruus (Mewtwo)

My first Shiny Legendary! I got really lucky with this one, I found it after only 135 encounters. It's named after the Jedi clone Joruus C'Baoth from the original Thrawn trilogy.

I caught her while looking for a female Sableye so I could breed for one with Imprison and Recover to use against Mewtwo. She was holding a Grip Claw, which is a 5% chance held item you need to evolve Sneasel into Weavile. Named after Shada from the Star Wars EU.

I found this Shiny Pokemon in the Cave World, that's the one you get to from the yellow wormhole. I've actually caught a lot of the Shiny Pokemon you can find there in the last couple weeks, I think the only one I haven't gotten is the Abomasnow. I've had really good shiny luck in the lately, especially with the Mewtwo and all. The only trick to it that I've found it to always go into the bloomers, no matter how far along you are. That's what I call the wormholes with light or something coming out of them, "bloomers", because it kinda looks like a blooming shape. Bulbapedia calls them the "three ring" wormholes on the Ultra Space Wilds page, but that's kinda confusing because the one and two ring wormholes have one or two rings around them, so when they say three ring wormholes it sounds like you're supposed to look for something with three rings around it, not two rings with light or something coming out of it. Where was I? Oh, yes. The three ring wormholes have the best shiny odds in the game, but if there's any Legendary Pokemon you haven't caught in that wormhole, then they'll always have one of those legendaries. I had two Legendary Pokemon in the green one that I hadn't caught yet at the time, Mewtwo and Dialga, and I was planning to shiny hunt them so I didn't want to just go in and throw a Master Ball, so I ended up missing out on the green bloomers and I didn't get as many shinies from them. Since then I caught a shiny Mewtwo there, but (as of typing this) I still haven't gotten a Dialga. I named the Mewtwo Joruus, after that crazy Jedi Master clone from Heir to the Empire. I made a shiny Mewtwo named Rex, as I recall, back when I was Wonder Trading hacked shinies in Gen VI, and they were good ones, too, with moves from the older games and everything. I never Wonder Traded for my own Shiny, so I guess people liked them. Anyway, I'm more of an Expanded Universe Star Wars fan now than a Disney one, so I called my Mewtwo Joruus. You see, Joruus C'Baoth was a clone of Jorus C'Baoth, who was the Jedi Master on Outbound Flight. There's a whole story there with Grand Admiral Thrawn and the Chiss, but... well, it's probably better if you read about it in the old Star Wars books. They're not like Disney Star Wars where Luke and Han are grouchy old men who've given up on everything, and they have characters like Mara Jade who never existed in the Disney version, and, well, I guess you'd just have to read them. Anyway, I came up with a whole fancy strategy using Harvest and a Leppa Berry to make sure that Mewtwo didn't run out of PP and knock itself out before I could catch it. Ended up not mattering though, because I got it into a Luxury Ball before it ever ate its Leppa Berry, but it was nice to know it wasn't going to Struggle itself to death. That's one of my worst fears with this whole shiny hunting thing, you know, finding a shiny legendary after however many thousand encounters and having it knock itself out before I can catch it. I've got a way figured out to stop it from doing that, but I'm going to make a whole other post about that. Speaking of shiny Pokemon, I was probably supposed to talk about Mr. Hippo here, instead of wormholes and Star Wars and all that. Well, this Hippowdon is named after Mr. Hippo, a purple hippo character from Five Nights at Freddy's who always tells these long rambling stories when he kills you in Ultimate Custom Night. So if you didn't know about Mr. Hippo and you were wondering why my comments about this Pokemon were going on for so long, well, now you know on both counts. Mr. Hippo has an orange elephant friend named Orville in Five Nights at Freddy's who always seems to show up in his stories, going on a picnic or feeding birds in the park or doing other such activities. I don't have an orange elephant Pokemon yet, at least not a shiny one. Cufant's orange, but if I'm going to name a Pokemon after Orville Elephant I'd rather it was a shiny Pokemon, even if it doesn't turn out to be orange. Maybe a Donphan from the Friend Safari...

Interestingly enough, all four of the Masquerain I caught in this Friend Safari were male. And all the Shinies I've caught while shiny hunting Eevee with Cute Charm for Female were female... I wonder if there's some kind of connection between shininess and gender in these games? Or maybe it's just a coincidence.

One of the first Pokemon I specifically looked for while shiny hunting. I didn't have Block on my Aegislash then so I caught her in a Master Ball (so she didn't Teleport away). I wanted to name her after Serene from the Ask Airalin comics (she was a Kirlia back then), but I didn't want to give her the same name, so I went with Grace based on the Ability Serene Grace. She has since leveled up a few times and evolved into a Gardevoir, since I've used her Trace Ability to check wild Pokemon Abilities before catching them a couple times.

The first Nihelgo I encountered in Ultra Sun. I actually thought the Ultra Beasts had boosted shiny odds like the regular Warp Ride Pokemon for a while, but it turns out this one was full odds. Also, it doesn't look any different on the animation that plays when you first encounter it, even if it is shiny.
